Counselling provides the individual with a safe space where they will be listened to without judgement. It provides an opportunity to explore feelings and emotions which impact on our behaviors and can become overwhelming, impacting on your day to day life.

We find ways to avoid exploring why we react a certain way in specific situations. We shield those closest to us from our darkest fears. We find ways to numb the pain or avoid the obvious. We get angry with the world when what we really want to do is cry.

Having a regular opportunity to work through these issues can make a profound difference to your life. Counselling is also about enabling the individual to learn to do these things for themselves.
