I am Jake Fisher - a trained counsellor registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling Practitioners).

I run my private practice in central Gravesend offering face to face and online counselling services, Alongside this I support NHS and Frontline workers as part of Frontline 19. I did my training at the Inter-Psyche training institute, part of the Kent and Medway NHS & SCPT.

I support clients to build a better understanding of themselves by exploring emotions and their roots. I then look to enable the clients to “become their own therapist” through increased self-awareness combined with some cognitive theory.

I have experience in the following areas:

  • Anxiety & stress

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Bereavement

  • Complex grief

  • Family & relationship difficulties

  • Self esteem & confidence issues

  • Ill-health in self or a family member

  • Work problems

  • Personal development

This is not an exhaustive list. Please contact me if you want to talk in more detail and we can arrange an assessment session either on the phone or in person for no charge.
