I am an integrative therapist which means I employ a range of theories to underpin my work as I believe we are all different and one size does not fit all.

Establishing a good relationship between client and counsellor is key for effective therapy, for this reason I offer a free 30 mins session for us both to establish if we can work together.

I work with clients both short and long term. It is impossible to say how much therapy each person requires and often it comes down to personal choice (it is your time and money). What I can say is that I will not draw it out. Ideally I would like to help and support you to get back to a “better place” as soon as possible. Some people return to counselling after a break as the unpredictable nature of life means they need to work through either new issues, or old ones that have resurfaced.

We are all a work in progress, and in the same way need to see a doctor or a dentist from time to time, sometimes seeing your counsellor is also beneficial.

I try to create a safe space where you can be real, where you can share and explore the feelings that you are struggling to process. I can help you to make sense of the behaviours that you want to change, explore their roots and work with you to create strategies that will bring about change.

It is not a counsellors job to give you the answers, but I can help you to understand what it all means.
